Ken was raised in Jackson County and has lived here all his life. He graduated magna cum laude from Spring Arbor University with a B.A. Ken then attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he was awarded the top mock trial award on two separate occasions. After graduating cum laude from law school, Ken joined the firm and later became a partner. Ken continues to live in Jackson with his wife and two children.
Ken is a member of the Michigan Bar Association and the Jackson County Bar Association. He serves on the Community Corrections Board of Jackson County and the Spring Arbor Township Public Safety Committee. Ken has served on the Child and Parent Center Safe Haven Project and the Jackson County Family Services and Children's Aid board of directors. The firm is a member of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.
Ken is an experienced trial attorney who has successfully tried criminal cases ranging from drunk driving, assault and battery and criminal sexual conduct, to a gang-related murder case. He has tried hundreds of family law cases and is often appointed by the Jackson County Circuit Courts to represent children as the guardian ad litem. Ken represents several area businesses and continues to provide them with superb ongoing legal services.
