Background
Mick was born and raised in Jackson, Michigan and also lived in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Morgantown, West Virginia, and Royal Oak, Michigan before moving back to Jackson in 2005. After graduating cum laude from Western Michigan University in 2002, Mick attended the West Virginia University College of Law where he was selected to be a member of the Moot Court Board. Mick completed his last year of law school as a visiting student at Wayne State University in Detroit. After he passed the Michigan bar exam, Mick was hired as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Jackson County and worked in that office until he was hired as an associate with White & Hotchkiss, PLLC in February, 2006.
Professional and Community Activities
Mick is a member of the American Bar Association, Michigan Bar Association, and Jackson County Bar Association. He also serves as a volunteer for the Western Michigan University Alumni Association, is a board member of the Jackson Exchange Club, and has volunteered in the past with Jackson County Habitat for Humanity.
