Background
Mick was born and raised in Jackson, Michigan and has also lived in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Morgantown, West Virginia, and Royal Oak, Michigan before moving back to Jackson in 2005. After graduating cum laude from Western Michigan University in 2002, Mick attended the West Virginia University College of Law where he was selected to be a member of the Moot Court Board. Mick completed his last year of law school as a visiting student at Wayne State University in Detroit. After he passed the Michigan bar exam, Mick was hired as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Jackson County and worked in that office until he was hired as an associate with White & Hotchkiss, PLLC in February, 2006.

Mick is a member of the American Bar Association, Michigan Bar Association, and the Jackson County Bar Association. He also serves as a volunteer for the Western Michigan University Alumni Association and is a board member of the Jackson Exchange Club.
